Hey everyone! I’ve been working on our baby boy’s nursery since I was 8 months pregnant and I’m still not done. Not because I chose some intricate design or needed to wait for a bunch of things to come in. I’ve simply…been too tired to finish during pregnancy and too busy since birth. But now I’m finally finishing up and adding the final touches.
I ordered this little faux tree from Wayfair to add a little greenery to the room. I chose to go with a smaller tree since this is baby boy’s room and I didn’t think we needed a tall one.
For the planter, I was a little torn between two different options: a basket and a stone planter. Although I like the earthiness of the basket, the planter gave it a little bump in height. I reused the packaging to position and maximize the height. Then I used some faux moss from the dollar tree to cover the top of the base. I love the finished result.
I also made it a point to find a citrus tree instead of an olive tree. Olive trees are nice but didn’t feel right for this space.
