My husband and I took two sets of engagement photos. We had a mini photo shoot when he proposed, and a planned shoot a few months before our wedding.
When we would casually chat about what I envisioned on that special day, I always told Bruce that I wanted to get engaged with my family and closest friends present. Unfortunately, when we both felt ready to take that next step in life, we were about three months into a pandemic with no end in site.
Bruce decided he didn’t want to put off proposing any longer, so as part of him popping the question, he hired a photographer and videographer to document the moment and share with our loved ones.
He took me out for what I thought was lunch. We took a break walking to the restaurant (It ended up being an extremely hot that day) and I noticed someone was playing the Saxophone. Little did I know, Bruce hired the musician that was playing my favorite song.
A pandemic proposal isn’t complete without a mask and sanitizer in hand lol!
When I turned around, Bruce was down on one knee, popping the question!
I’m really happy that Bruce had the foresight that I would want to document this moment to share with our loved ones!
The last shots we took were holding hands and they’re my favorite! Not only because Bruce made sure he picked a day when my nails were done (A REAL ONE!) but they came out so soft with beautiful lighting.
I hope you enjoyed a really special day in my life in image form!
