Getting things in order is an ongoing job that has gotten harder since having my little boy. Things can quickly crowd your home, ESPECIALLY baby things. Even though I put a lot of effort into Nesting, I’ve still been going through and re-organizing for optimal practical use.
As I’m using my son’s nursery more and more, I realize there are things that work best for ease of use. I’m sharing the layouts that have been working best for me.
I love how our DIY closet is organized. These bins make it really easy to grab and go. I have them separated into categories of our most used items: Wipes, Bath, Blankets, and Towels. I can pull out a bin, grab the item I need, and easily push it back in. It’s also super helpful for the other people in your home that are caring. for baby: Dad, Grandma, or even a babysitter.

We got a ton of books at our baby shower. the middle organizer is perfect for these baskets from Target to store the ones we don’t currently have on the bookshelf. This is super helpful so it’s easy to rotate them out. I also have this super cute display for his little shoes. They don’t fit perfectly, but I’m okay with that!
We have his dresser organized with a lot of his essentials medicine, changing, and overall care items. We used clear containers we found at Homegoods to keep everything tidy.
I said a full nursery tour is coming and it is! Just have to keep his room clean long enough to capture it. Make sure you check back soon!
