Hey guys! I wanted to make a dedicated post on my DIY Balloon Garland that I recently made for my Birthday Party. I feel like these days you barely ever see party decor without a balloon garland. They help pull a color scheme together and a little something extra.
Check out my YouTube Video on putting together my party decor!
For my party, I wanted a garland but of course, didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it. I’ve been quoted for a few balloon garlands and the lowest I’ve gotten is around $400!
Don’t get me wrong, I believe in paying people what they’re worth. I also believe that a limited budget shouldn’t stop you from creating something really pretty and fun!
The garland I used for the event costs less than $20! I only used two of the four color variations because each color did not have the 18in balloons. It ended up working out though because my main theme was pink and peach. I used the glue dots and strip roll that came with the kit but ended up using some twine from Dollar Tree and regular scotch tape that you would use when wrapping a gift. It worked well for me This is only my second time making an Amazon Balloon Garland. the first was for my at-home baby shower. With the previous experience under my belt, this one turned even more beautifully.

Here are a few tips and tricks for putting together a CHEAP balloon garland:
- Start with the biggest balloons first. I find it easier to build around the biggest balloons and work my way down.
- Make a mix of quads (four balloons tied together) and doubles (two balloons tied together) in smaller sizes. It helps create a full look when you have more flexibility and add balloons in.
- Make sure you read the description on Amazon! If you’re going for a more Matte look, make sure you order double-stuffed balloons. They are more difficult to blow up but worth it.
- Make the garland the night before at the earliest. In my experience, these balloons are much cheaper than what you would get if you hire someone who uses high-quality ones. They will not last days.
- Order two packs. Just in case you end up having lots of balloons pop and need to make sure it’s full.
- Blow up a few balloons in advance to check the color. If you’re looking for a really good color match, check your balloons and make sure they match well. Colors based on pictures and descriptions tend to be a little off so it’s best to confirm well in advance.
I hope these tips and tricks are helpful!

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You obviously know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?
